As the founder and Medical Director of the Cell Surgical network of Florida and pioneer in stem cell plastic surgery, Dr. Lewis J. Obi has developed a number of exclusive stem cell enhanced plastic surgery procedures for the face, breasts and body.
Dr. Obi is a native of Jacksonville and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida after first serving in the U. S. Marine Corps. He then graduated with honors, (AOA) from the University of Miami Medical School and then completed his internship in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
After many years of residency training in general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery and hand surgery, he launched his private practice; Obi Plastic Surgery in Jacksonville marking another new beginning. At that time, Obi Plastic Surgery was the first State Licensed Ambulatory Plastic Surgery Center in the state of Florida.
Dr. Obi has pioneered many unique laser techniques and exclusive stem cell plastic surgery procedures. These include the use of lasers and stem cells procedures for non-invasive breast surgery and reconstruction, face lifts and fat transfers. These advancements have garnered Dr. Obi international recognition as a leading stem cell plastic surgeon which has resulted in being published in the first text book on the use of stem cells in aesthetic plastic surgery and being regularly invited to lecture and teach both in the United States and Internationally on the subject of stem cell uses in plastic surgery and regenerative medicine.
