Our Advanced Stem Cell Treatment Center in Jacksonville
At the CSN Florida Stem Cell Treatment and Research Center located at Obi Plastic Surgery in Jacksonville, FL, we employ highly advanced 3D Imaging to document and plan cosmetic stem cell treatments, and the most effective and advanced cosmetic lasers to further enhance stem cell cosmetic treatments. When it comes to the use of adult stem cells in the treatment of Orthopedic, Urinary, arthritic and other conditions or injuries, we are using the most advanced closed systems and stem cell processing equipment to harvest and process incredibly hi volumes of adult stem cells and then target their powerful regenerative abilities to the site of our patient’s conditions and injuries as a natural treatment.
Our Stem Cell Surgery Center utilizes only the safest and most advanced medical and surgical equipment including the rare and almost exclusive Palomar SlimLipo Laser Lipo, The “Adivive” Closed System Stem processing equipment, Platelet Rich Plasma processing units, (PRP) and stem cell counters that assure the transfer and injection of the highest quantities of your adult stem cells.
The C-ARM, (below, left) allows for a real time x-ray view of the patients areas of treatment. The Magellan system, (below, right) is an Enclosed Sterile Unit that concentrates as little as 60cc’s of the patient’s blood into a teaspoon of PRP, or Platelet Rich Plasma (clear injectable solution comprised of platelets, growth factors and stem cells.)
Stem Cell Enhanced Cosmetic Surgery.
At the Lewis J. Obi’s Obi Plastic Surgery Clinic, we follow the same protocols of the Cell Surgical Network in using adult fat to perform fat transfer. Our database includes more than 500 patients in an IRB study for safety and efficacy in adult stem cell treatments. We are pleased to report that there have been no major complications. In fact, the majority of our study group has reported very positive results after their stem cell treatment. Dr Lewis J. Obi included the adjuvant use of PRP, (Platelet Rich Plasma) five years ago, and now many of his CSN affiliates are now also using PRP.
Preparation of stem cells and SVF, (Stromal Vascular Fraction) is complex and requires experienced scrub techs, technicians, registered nurses, a risk manager, as well as an AHCA licensed center. Out of almost 100 CSN affiliates
internationally, the above equipment and techniques underscore how CSN of Florida provides a truly unique and comprehensive approach for treating stem cell patients.
Dr. Lewis J. Obi has also been published on his work with Stem cells in cosmetic surgery and has lectured at numerous international stem cell symposiums. In June, Dr. Obi will lecture at the 3rd Annual Cell Surgical Meeting in Beverly Hills. He will then travel to Seoul Korea to work with world famous plastic surgeon and stem cell pioneer; Dr. Hee Young Lee. Dr. Lee established Medikan International, manufacturer of much of the systems and equipment that Dr. Obi uses at his stem cell center in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Obi will be one of the first physicians to train for the very advanced “Stem Cell Expansion and Storage System Dr. Lee recently invented. The Max stem system not only stores an individuals adult stem cells, it also fosters multiplication capable of generating much more stem cells than the human body is capable of generating.
However, the use of the Medikan Stem Cell Expansion System is not yet approved in the United States. Although it will require many levels of approval by several regulatory agencies before it can be used in treating patients in the US, Dr. Obi’s training and preparation on this highly advanced equipment demonstrates his desire to remain on the leading edge in his ongoing development of adult stem cell treatments.
